Mazmur 78:7

78:7 Then they will place their confidence in God.

They will not forget the works of God,

and they will obey ¹  his commands.

Mazmur 140:11

140:11 A slanderer ²  will not endure on ³  the earth;

calamity will hunt down a violent man and strike him down. ⁴

[140:11]  ³ tn Heb “be established in.”

[140:11]  ⁴ tn Heb “for blows.” The Hebrew noun מַדְחֵפֹה (madkhefoh, “blow”) occurs only here in the OT.
